讲座摘要:Floating offshore wind is vital for Japan's renewable energy goals, with concrete floaters offering a cost-effective and locally suitable solution. While global projects like Hywind Tampen demonstrate feasibility, Japan has established its own design guidelines. Research at Yokohama National University has progressed from designing semi-submersible and spar-type floaters to analyzing their structural performance under cyclic and extreme typhoon loads. Recent simulations reveal that typhoon conditions may differ significantly from standard design assumptions, underscoring the need for updated load cases. Future work requires integrating realistic wind-wave interactions into standards and validating simulations with offshore data to ensure the safe, large-scale deployment of concrete floating wind turbines.
个人简介:Prof. Chikako Fujiyama is a Professor in the Department of Urban Innovation at Yokohama National University. She holds a Dr. Eng. from the University of Tokyo and specializes in structural engineering, earthquake engineering, and maintenance management. With industry experience as a bridge designer and a strong academic background, she has contributed to numerous publications and received several awards, including the Best Paper Award from the Japan Concrete Institute. Her research focuses on the durability and performance of concrete structures under cyclic and environmental loads.
